We use Triple-wall for your drainage-system. Triple-wall is an Heavy Duty 6" PVC wrapped with aluminum, and rubber. Because of this, you will never have a worry of tree roots, or critters damaging it. An adapter connects directly from your downspout to the triple-wall.
